Charles Antonetti, cadet des novateurs du théâtre des années 40 et 50 ? les Barrault, Dasté et Serreau ? fut principalement le diffuseur des règles fondamentales d?apprentissage pour un art dramatique exigeant. Homme de théâtre et formateur exceptionnel, il s?adressait à l?acteur en évolution vers ± l?athlète affectif d?Artaud. Éloigné des pleins feux de l?actualité et des trompettes d?Avignon, il fut oublié avec ceux qui défrichaient le terrain de l?éducation populaire. Acteur, mime, metteur en scène, il a été l?un des premiers instructeurs nationaux du Théâtre, recrutés par le Ministère de l?Éducation dans le but de répandre la pratique artistique. Auteur de nombreux articles, il publia un essai sur la valeur éducative du jeu dramatique, ± Drame et Culture , très apprécié du philosophe Gaston Bachelard. Le présent ouvrage, regroupe ses notes consacrées à sa pédagogie sensorielle inspirée tant par le surréaliste Pierre Mabille que par son maître Charles Dullin chez qui il rencontra Etienne Decroux. Ce livre est un hommage à l?homme et au transmetteur des techniques de base du jeu dramatique, telles qu?il les a enrichies. Een handleiding met zaken waar een beginnende acteur, vooral amateur, moet op letten om zijn kwaliteit als acteur of actrice te verbeteren.
